Persian Wedding DJ in Europe

Persian classics, modern Persian music and international sound, with live darbuka on the dance floor.

Persian DJ · EuropeI grew up with
this music.

Born in Cologne with Persian roots, I grew up between two cultures. Persian music and traditions were part of my home.

That is the difference between knowing the songs and knowing the wedding. A Persian wedding has its own order, its own family moments and its own way of building toward the party. As a Persian wedding DJ I plan around all of it, and then play for the room in front of me.

Persian Wedding MusicClassics your parents love. Tracks your friends know.

The music should feel familiar to your family while still sounding like the two of you. Before the wedding we go through what you actually listen to, the songs that matter, and the ones you never want to hear.

Persian classics

The songs that bring parents, aunts and uncles to the floor, including the 6/8 rhythms no Persian wedding goes without.

Modern Persian music

Current Persian pop and club edits, including my own remixes, for the part of the night when the floor is full.

International & Afro House

International hits, R&B, Afrobeats and Afro House for guests who did not grow up with Persian music, mixed in without breaking the mood.

Live DarbukaPercussion on the dance floor.

At the right moment I step out from behind the booth with the darbuka. With Persian music the effect is immediate: guests stop dancing to the song and start dancing with the drum.

Multicultural Persian WeddingsTwo families.
One dance floor.

Persian and German. Persian and British. Persian and American. When one side knows every word and the other is hearing the music for the first time, the order of the songs matters more than the songs themselves.

I build the night so both families recognize themselves in it, and so the guests who have never been to a Persian wedding are the ones asking for more.

Persian Destination WeddingsMarrying abroad.

Many Persian couples living in the US, Canada or the UK choose Europe for the wedding itself — Italy, Spain, France or Greece. I travel across Europe and plan with you and your planner remotely.

The CeremonyThe Sofreh Aghd and its music

I have written a guide to the ceremony, its meaning and its music, including the instrumental version of Mobarak Baad I produced for aghd ceremonies. If you are still looking for someone to design your sofreh, I can often introduce you to people I trust.

“He blended Persian, French music, Afrobeats and more so the energy stayed high all night. He even wove in live drumming, so it felt like a live performance.”

QuestionsPersian wedding DJ: common questions

Do you play Persian and international music in the same night?
Yes. Most Persian weddings I play are mixed — Persian classics and current Persian hits next to international party music, R&B, Afrobeats and Afro House. The aim is that the switch between them feels natural, so grandparents and college friends end up on the same dance floor.
Can you help us plan the music for our aghd ceremony?
Yes. I help with song choices and the musical flow around the Sofreh Aghd, from the entrance to the moment everyone celebrates afterwards. I also produced my own instrumental version of Mobarak Baad for aghd ceremonies. Read the Sofreh Aghd guide.
Do you know the traditional moments, like the knife dance?
Yes. The knife dance (raghs-e chaghoo), the couple's entrance and the family dances are planned with you in advance, including who takes part and which songs you want.
We are a Persian-American couple getting married in Europe. How does planning work?
Remotely, and well ahead of the date. We talk by video call, you send a playlist and a no-go list, and I coordinate with your planner and venue. Time zones are not a problem.
Do you speak Persian?
Yes — English, German and Persian. Announcements can be kept short, made in more than one language, or left to your MC.
Do you bring sound and lighting?
For destination weddings the sound and lighting is supplied by your venue or a local production company. I provide a written technical rider so they deliver exactly what is needed. View the technical rider.
